You can utilize the News feature in order to create a Blog. To setup your page to function like a Blog, you will need to enable News items to accept User Comments. To do so, just follow these steps:
- Click on the Site Map
- Click on the page you decided to place you Blog (or create a new subpage)
- Click on the Edit tab
- In the bottommost section, Other Options for this Page, change the Allow "News" comments? from No to Yes.
- If you wish to be notified when someone posts a comment, enter an e-mail address in the "News" comments E-mail text field. Otherwise, leave it blank.
- Click Update Page
To create a Blog entry follow these steps:
- Go to your Site Map
- Click on the name of the page that is setup as a Blog
- Click on the News tab
- Click on the Add link in the top right hand corner of the section entitled News/Announcements
- Complete the form. In the section called Display Options for this News Article, make sure that you set the settings as follows:
-Home page - make sure this is set to Do Not Show
-News page - make sure this is set to Do Not Show
-Category page - make sure this is set to In Content
- After completing the form, click Add News Article
