How to insert a picture on a page, event, news article, etc.

To add a pictures to a page using the WYSIWYG Editor , follow these easy steps:

  1. Click on the Image button (16):



    The Image Properties dialogue will open:



  2. Click on the Browse Server button:



  3. If your picture is on the server, skip to step 4. If it isn't on the server yet, click the Upload button. Then, click on Browse to select a file. After you have selected the file you wish to upload, click the Upload Selected File button.




  4. Select a picture from the server by double-clicking on it.

  5. Edit the properties of the picture as needed:

    - Border - for no border, type 0 (zero) (recommended)
    - HSpace - horizontal space between picture and wrapped text. If your picture is next text, we suggest an HSpace of 5.
    - VSpace - vertical space between picture and wrapped text
    - Align - use to align picture to the left or the right of the text (text will wrap around picture)

  6. To link the picture to another file, page, or website, click on the Link tab. If you do not want to link the image to another file, page, or website, skip to Step 9 below.



  7. To link to another page or website, type in the exact URL of the page or website. To link to another file on the server (picture, document, etc.), click on the Browse Server button and select your file by double-clicking on it.

  8. Next, choose the link target. To have the link open in a new window, select New Window...otherwise, just leave the target set to :

  9. Click the OK button.
You can always go back in and change the options for a picture by right-clicking on the picture in the WYSIWYG editor and selecting Image Properties.
